After a relaxed weekend I get back to work, even so there are some moments that left they’re mark after a small photo report. Here I leave you a photo but there are more in “Lisboa’s Corner” for those that are curious.

Maravilhas / Wonders

Neste momento estou em Viana do Castelo em férias!! Eh eh
E como o hotel tem Internet há que aproveitar para deixar conta das coisas que há espalhadas pelas terras de Portugal. Esta é um dos elementos embelezadores da cidade de Viana, e mais não digo. Para Segunda há mais notícias.

And as the hotel has internet I’m taking the opportunity to show the wonders spread through the lands of Portugal. This is a element to beautify the city of Viana, and this is as far as I go. Monday they’ll be more news.

À procura / Searching

Depois de pensar um bocado (ou talvez deva dizer muito) cheguei à conclusão que ainda estou à procura de algo. Acho que é algo grande, mas ainda não sei o que é. É um sentimento bastante esquisito, estar à procura de algo que não se sabe o que é, mas é o que tenho em mente. Sinto que isto vai ser um objectivo a longo prazo mas, é algo que não me sai da cabeça.
Alguém também anda com esta impressão ou eu é que sou mesmo esquisito?
Bem, resta-me abrir os olhos para ver o que me vai aparecendo pela frente...

After thinking a little (or should I say a lot) I got to the conclusion that I’m still looking for something. I think it’s something big, but I still don’t know what it is. It’s a very strange feeling, looking for something you don’t know what it is, but it’s what I have on my head. I feel it’s going to be a long term objective, and it’s something I can’t take of my mind.
Does someone have this felling or it’s just me that am weird?
Well, all that’s left it’s to open my eyes to see what crosses my path...

Atchim!

Este fim-de-semana foi algo desagradável, passei-o na cama. Mas não pensem que foi por bons motivos (eh eh), foi sim para ver se recuperava de uma gripe. E não se preocupem que (como dizia um amigo meu) ao espirrar dizia “atchim” e não “piu piu”. Por isso podem riscar a possibilidade de gripe das aves.
Depois de muito repouso, chá e aspirinas acho que estou melhor, mas ainda estou longe de estar a 100%. O pior é que há muito trabalho para fazer, por isso descansar está a ser um problema.
Aqui na empresa o descanso é uma coisa relativa, e como tal aqui estou eu até tarde a tratar de novas funcionalidades que tenho para desenvolver. Ao menos estou motivado e isso é que importa!

Além disso, como estava cansado do aspecto do blog, aqui está ele de cara lavada. Depois digam se gostam ou nem por isso.

This weekend was somewhat unpleasant, I spent it in bed. But don’t think I was for good motives (eh eh). I was trying to recover from flu. And don’t worry (as a friend of mine said), sneezing was “atchim” and not “piu piu”. So you can forget the possibility of bird flu.
After a lot of rest, tea and aspirins I think I’m better. But I’m still far away of being 100%. Worst of all there’s a lot of work to be done, so resting is becoming a problem.
Here at work rest is a relative thing. And as such I’m still here developing new functionalities. At least I’m motivated and that’s what’s important.

Moreover, as I was tired of the style of my blog I gave it a new face. Tell me if you like it or not.

Felicidade / Happiness

O dia de ontem fez-me sentir mesmo feliz. Trabalhei bastante e sai bem tarde do trabalho. No entanto fiz tudo o que era preciso e mesmo após uma crise por causa de uma funcionalidade que estava em falta consegui resolver tudo.
Faz-me lembrar uma frase de uma amiga minha “que as coisas acabam por encaixar todas, mas só se nos esforçarmos.” Ontem foi mesmo o que senti. Quer no trabalho, quer no kendo, na tuna, ou no coro (e nas outras coisas também). Tudo tem corrido bem, tenho é que me esforçar.
Acho que se há dias para nos sentirmos felizes ontem foi um deles :D
E como o dia ainda requeria a cereja em cima do bolo fui ao cinema com a menina para relaxar um pouco mais... he he

Yesterday made me very happy. I work a lot and got out very late. Nevertheless I did what was needed and even after a crisis because of an undeveloped functionality I managed to do everything.
It reminds me a sentence from a friend of mine “all works out in the end – but only if you want to”. And all is well in my job, at kendo, at “tuna”, in the choir (and other stuff too). All is well, I just have to make an effort.
I think that if there are days to make us feel happy, yesterday was it. :D
And because the day still required the cherry on top of the cake I went to the movies with my girl to relax a little... he he

Relaxe / Relax

E até que surjam novos desenvolvimentos, tenho tudo feito! :D Já terminei todo o trabalho e amanhã vamos ver o que faço. Provavelmente tratar de pormenores mas até lá nada mais me preocupa.
Entretanto está a ir para a minha caixa de correio um telemóvel novo. Que é o Nokia 3220. Tem muitas funcionalidades, mas suspeito que não vou usar metade delas. Mas como o meu irmão precisava de um telemóvel novo (ele fica com o meu), e como o arranjo mais barato acho que foi uma boa escolha.
Por outro lado, logo há o jantar de aniversário da tuna... mais um ano de tuna. Posso dizer que não tarda a sermos uma tuna adulta :D he he
Bem, acho que vou para casa porque também mereço.



And until there are new developments, I’ve done everything! :D I’m finished with all my work and tomorrow I’ll see what I’ll do next. Probably I’ll take care of some details, but until then I have nothing to worry about.
Meanwhile a new cell phone is en route to my mailbox. It’s a Nokia 3220. It has lot’s of functionalities, but I suspect that I won’t use half of them. But as my brother needed a new one (he’s staying with mine), and as I can get cheaper than retail price, it’s a good choice.
On the other hand, later I have the birthday dinner of my “tuna” ... another year of tuna. I can say that soon we’ll be and “adult tuna”. :D he he
Well, I think I’m going home because I deserve it.

Tempo livre? / Free time?

Bem, tenho tido muito para fazer, quer no trabalho, quer for a dele. Como tal a minha veia literária tem estado um pouco estagnada.
Mesmo assim, tenho despachado muito trabalho aqui na PT, e espero hoje acabar esta fase, aliás, hoje vou acabar esta fase... e mai nada.
Entretanto vou indo ao treino e aos ensaios. É claro que não me tem sobrado muito tempo. Estar com os amigos tem sido algo complicado e tenho de me melhor organizar para resolver esta situação. Já que não inventaram os dias com 36h tenho de resolver o meu problema de outra maneira. :P

Noutras notícias Sexta-feira é uma data importante. Vamos ver se não me esqueço dela. Conhecendo-me como conheço é sempre difícil...

Well, I’ve been having much to do, at work and out of work. As a result my literary vein has been somewhat stagnated.
Even so, I’ve been doing a lot of work here at PT, and I hope to finish today this faze, better yet, I will finish this faze today... and that’s that.
Meanwhile I’ve also been going to training and rehearsals. I haven’t been having much free time to spare. Being with friends has been quite complicated and I must organize myself better in order to resolve this. And as they haven’t invented 36h days I have to solve this problem some other way. :P

In other news Friday is an important date. Let’s see if I don’t forget it. Knowing myself as I do it’s always hard...
