No passado dia 13 de Outubro (parece que foi à tanto tempo) aconteceu algo de muito especial. O meu irmão casou.
É algo que definitivamente não acontece todos os dias, e desta feita o meu irmão e a Anabela juntaram-se até que nada os separe :P A cerimónia foi em Molares, uma terra perto de Celorico de Basto e o copo de água foi a 500mt da igreja. A cerimónia correu muito bem, na qual se deve salientar o telemóvel de alguém tocar 3 vezes (ah era o telemóvel do padre) e o padre insistir no termo “A Anabela e o noivo” (seja lá quem ele for). Durante a cerimónia tivemos o contributo de amigos e familiares e foi algo que correu muito bem.
Finda a cerimónia, lá fomos para a quinta e iniciamos as hostilidades gastronómicas. Houve um bocado de tudo e acho que estava tudo muito bom (que opinião facciosa, eh eh). O espaço era bom, a comida e o vinho também. E deve-se também referir os magníficos centros de mesa que tiveram a autoria da Susana e um dedinho meu. (para quem não sabe tínhamos personagens de BD nas mesas, e as ementas tinham além da comida a história da personagem da mesa). Além disso tive também o gosto de trazer algum fado de Coimbra para o casamento, momento esse, que foi muito emotivo (quem quiser que me pergunte porquê).
Depois disso a festa entrou em ritmo de cruzeiro e foi rambóia até horas tardias. Houve aqueles que não queriam sair tão tarde, mas a borga imperou. Uma grande vantagem do casório é que tínhamos quartos na quinta o que felizmente permitiu que a cama estivesse a 2 passos. Que grande festa. E os parabéns ao Chico e à Anabela!
Last October 13th (it seams that it was a long time ago) something very special happened. My brother got married.
Definitely is something that doesn’t happens everyday. This was the occasion of my brother and Anabela to get together and nothing due them part. :P The ceremony was in Molares, a small village near Celorico de Basto and the party was just 500mt (1650ft) away. The ceremony went rather well, during which I must mention some highlights. Such as cell phones ringing (it was the priest...and 3 times in a row) and also the priest always saying “Anabela and the groom” (whoever he is). During the ceremony we had the contribution of friends and family and it was something that went rather well.
After the wedding it was time to party. So there we went and soon enough we started the gastronomical hostilities. There was a little of everything and I think all of it was very good (in my partial opinion, eh eh) . The space was good, the food and the wine. I should also mention the tables had some nice comic’s characters. The menus also had the story of that character (besides the food that is). All that work must be thanked to Susana, and a little work of my own. Also there was a moment of “Fado” from Coimbra. It was a very emotional moment but those that want to know may ask me later.
After that the party kept going on rails and lasted all night long :) There were even those that wanted to go home early but couldn’t. In the end it was good to have a room in the place of the party so that no driving was needed :)
